Introducing AlfaStrip, the ideal heating solution for overall, partial, supplementary and/or spot heating with high comfort levels and energy savings.

Application and Technical Specification

Of power supplied, more than 90% is radiant heat and less than 10% is converted to convected heat. It provides a natural comfortable warmth that ensures that the room stays fresh and draught free.

AlfaStrip electric heaters are constructed from galvanised sheet steel with a white enamelled paint coated RAL9010 finish on the casing. The heating elements are situated behind the light grey aluminium facia plates with a 25mm backing of fibre glass packing to reduce heat loss. The approximate temperature of the heater panels is 300dgrC and approximate 90dgrC on the back of the heater.

Effectiv up to a height of more than 30 metres this product is ideal where high temperature radiant heat is not a viable alternative and is ideally suited to a wide range of heating applications such as leisure centres, offices, showrooms, halls, warehouses, factories etc.

Ambient Temperature

Ambient temperature is the temperature we feel and is the average of the air temperature and the surface temperature of floors, walls and fixtures. The ambient temperature is always higher with radiant heat than with conventional heat and the atmosphere is better despite approx. 3dgrC - 6dgrC lower air temperature than conventional heating: (i) to provide thermal comfort at a lower cost than other heating systems (ii) to improve thermal comfort in otherwise unheatable spaces.
